The YMCA Health and Wellness programs are developmentally appropriate and help people at any stage of life build positive health habits. Participation in YMCA programs offers youth and adults opportunities for friendship and community, a sense of well-being, increased self-confidence and improved mental abilities.
YMCA programs and services cut across diverse populations with diverse needs and attempt to take into account the total health of each person. The YMCA provides a variety of Health and Wellness programs including land and water fitness classes for individuals and families of all ages, health and wellness seminars, educational classes, personalized training programs, noncompetitive youth and adult sports leagues and social opportunities for seniors and families.
Wellness Center Orientation
When first starting an exercise program, equipment can seem intimidating. That is why we offer fitness orientation to help teach you the basics. Fitness assistants will help you to adjust the equipment to the proper settings and demonstrate how to get the most out of your workout.
Pre-Registration: Required.
Fees: FREE with Facility Membership.
Fit Kid Fitness
Kids will learn fun and interesting ways to incorporate fitness and healthy nutrition into their everyday lives. Children will enjoy a variety of fun physical activities including gym games, kickball, soccer and much more!

Fees: FM Free, PM $25/monthly

Older Youth Strength Training
Older youth must successfully complete this one-day program in order to use the Wellness Center (machine weights & cardio equipment). This program includes a lecture and practical training performed by a certified trainer.

Personal Training
Personal Training will provide you with a safe, effective fitness program that fits your goals. Sessions are one-hour in length and include an assessment of your current fitness level. By purchasing multiple sessions, the trainer can ensure that your program develops as you do.

Fitlinxx®
What is Fitlinxx®? It is an advanced technology system that can transform your workouts and help you achieve your goals. It replaces your workout card and, through the use of computers, tracks your workout and gives you detailed information about your progress. You can also login on-line from your home or work computer to record your workouts while you are away. Fitlinxx® is not just exercise machines. All Group Exercise classes can be tracked through this system. Members, sign up for your FREE Fitlinxx® orientation and get started today.
Family Yoga
Have you ever tried to get a young child to sit still for 5 minutes? Parents do not have to work at getting young children to be active. Kids are in perpetual motion. They love being active. It is very important to establish good habits when they are young before they start to slow down. Kids begin to slow down around age 12. Their pattern of physical activity is often set for life by the time kids finish high school. Try our family yoga!
