Pilates
A full body workout on the Allegro Reformer Machine, that will improve your strength, flexibility, posture, body awareness, balance and more! We offer over 15 group reformer classes each week. (Limit 8 per class.) Fee payment and reservations are taken at the Welcome Center Desk. Members must complete our Beginner clinic or schedule private sessions with our highly trained Pilates instructors in order to attend our regular group reformer classes. Beginner Pilates Reformer Clinics
Are you new to Pilates? Not sure what to expect? This is the clinic for you ! 3 & 4 week monthly beginner clinics will teach you step by step all the beginner exercises performed on the Pilates Reformer Equipment. Pilates Beginner Mat Clinic
Always wanted to try a mat class at the YMCA; mat science, mat Pilates or even Pilates stretch. Then try our NEW introduction to mat classes. The clinic will teach you proper form, technique, exercise selection, and the use of props. Class meets on Tue 7:45pm, April 8-29 or Tue 7:45pm, Aug 5-29. Additional fee.
Spinning® 8-Week Weight Loss
Program
This plan uses a comprehensive approach to training and progressive weight loss that really works. Program includes measurements, course manual and certified instructors. AM & PM sessions available starting the week of March 3. Limit 30 participants. There is an additional fee associated with this program.
Spinning® Classes
The Cypress Creek YMCA offers over 16 Spinning classes every week lead by the most qualified instructors around. All Spinning classes have recommended heart rate parameters that will guide you on how hard you should be working. Heart Rate Monitors are highly recommended. All regular Spinning classes are free to members. Stop by the Welcome Center Desk for a complete Spinning Class Schedule.
Lap Swim Workouts
For swimmers and tri-athletes wanting to improve or change up their swim workouts. Must be able to swim 200 meters continuously. Sign up required. Free for members.

Begin ‘N Swim

Getting ready for your 1st Tri? Wanting to improve your performance? Then we have the answer. You will achieve fitness and find personal satisfaction from training for and doing triathlons. Our club meets once a week for lecture and brick workouts and to map out your weekly training schedule.

Racquetball
The Cypress Creek Family YMCA has 3 regulation racquetball courts available free to our members. You may reserve your court 24 hours in advance by calling or stopping by the Welcome Center Desk.
For safety reasons we recommend all players wear safety goggles and use a safety strap on their racquet. Want to meet new members? Then play our “Challenge Court” on Tue evenings on Courts 2 & 3, 5:15 - 8:15pm or Thu evenings on Court 2 & 3, 7:15, 10:00pm. Call the Welcome Center for more details.
Racquetball Clinics and Lessons The YMCA offers monthly 4-week beginner and intermediate clinics for those wanting to learn how to play or those wanting to improve their game. Saturday and Thursday Clinics are available. Want some one-on-one attention, then try our Private Racquetball Lessons for all levels.

4-week yoga clinic will introduce you to Yoga…one pose and breath at a time! Tai Chi clinic will get you started in a proven activity that has been around for centuries.

Belly Dancing
Come experience one of the oldest forms of movement. Taught by a professional belly dance instructor in a sharing, encouraging and joyful atmosphere, you will dance, sweat, learn, laugh and have fun. A variety of dancing styles will be explored. This class is a great way to exercise your spirit, mind and body. Class meets once a week.

Healthy Back
4-week class designed for those who have experienced occasional or persistent backache or discomfort. It is also for those that want to prevent that from happening! Class is preventative in nature and includes stretches and exercises to help strengthen and stretch your back. A great class for all levels!

Fit For Two (Prenatal Exercise Program) The Y’s 9-week prenatal class will teach you how to safely exercise during your pregnancy. Each class has an exercise focus and topic of discussion. All trimesters are welcome! A doctor’s release is required. Class meets 2 times a week with a bonus prenatal water class on Saturday mornings.

Friday Night Dance Classes
So you need something to do on Friday nights? You don’t want to miss our Friday night specials!
Come learn the latest dance moves, new and old techniques, then take your skills and go out on the town. Each monthly session focuses on a different dance technique from Swing, Salsa, Country-Western to Ballroom Dance.
Classes are 4 weeks for each type of dance, held on Fri evenings at 7:00pm (Child Watch available). Sign up for one month or sign up for them all. There is an additional fee associated with this program.

Join us as we celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend with our first “Mother-Daughter Day” on Sat, May 10, 1:00-4:00pm, for a very special journey with you and your daughter (ages 9-14).
We all want to spend quality time with our daughters and want them to grow up strong and healthy in mind and body, faith and fitness, so here’s your chance to pass along “Mother’s Wisdom”!
Spend 3 hours of “just you and me” time; exercising, relaxing, learning some nutrition tips and praying for each other. You will experience the following Sessions: “Mother-Daughter Pilates” class, “Cardio can be Fun” session, Healthy Diet and Nutrition session with food-prep demo and healthy snacks to keep our energy levels up.
