Wellness Center
Youth, ages 12 and under, are not allowed in the Wellness Center. Youth, ages 13-15, will be allowed in the Wellness Center upon completion of the Older Youth Weight Training course. Youth, ages 10 -12, are allowed to use the fitness equipment in Y-Zone after completing the Older Youth Strength Training course. Please register for these classes in the Wellness Center.
Pool Hours
Youth under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times while in the pool; preschool-age children must have a parent in the pool with them at all times.
Building
Youth under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult while in the YMCA. Youth ages 10 -12 must be accompanied by an adult or participating in a YMCA program.
Dress
The YMCA promotes a family atmosphere based on Christian values and therefore appropriate clothing is expected at all times while at the YMCA. All members are asked to wear appropriate T-shirts or tank tops and closed-toe shoes while using the facility.AWAY Program - The AWAY program emblem is on the back of your full service membership card. When you travel and want to continue with your workout program at a YMCA in another city, you may do so on a short-term basis as long as that YMCA is an AWAY Program participant.
Visiting members of an out-of-town YMCA are always welcome at the Lake Houston Family YMCA by showing their YMCA membership card.

Program Membership
This membership enables participation in YMCA programs and the opportunity to receive YMCA mailings. No use of the facility is included. Cost is $20 per family, per year.
Refund Policy
Joining fees are nonrefundable after the first 30 days. Program fees are not refunded after a program begins, but may be credited to another program provided this is done prior to the second class. Program fees will be refunded if the YMCA has to cancel the program.
Annual Maintenance
The Lake Houston Family YMCA will be closing for several days at the end of the summer to perform annual maintenance on the facility. Watch for exact dates to be posted around the YMCA.
