The following information applies to registration for all Movement/Arts & Humanities classes: Payment is required prior to class start date. All sessions dates and fees are subject to change. ARTS, HUMANITIES & MOVEMENTMixed Martial ArtsThis class builds coordination, balance, timing, focus, character and self-confidence. This is a great class to peak your child's interest on the different forms of Martial Arts.
Baby & MeThis class offers your baby a full range of options for exploring his/her physical development and coordination. Spend time with your baby while learning through play. This class works within your baby's current development stage allowing he/she to be in control of his/her body. Classes include exploration through active play, songs, rhymes, stories and parent/child bonding. Creative ArtThis specialty class is for children interested in learning various techniques in drawing, painting, and other mediums. Please dress in play clothes as creativity can be messy! Please bring a cover up for your child to prevent their clothing from being soiled by clay. Each class offers age-appropriate work including and art exhibit during the last class, so bring your camera and invite the family!
Cheer/TumblingLearn the basics of cheerleading, tumbling, jumps and motion with our Cheer class! This program will also work with your child to develop coordination, balance, strength, flexibility and self-esteem. Develop your child's physical capabilities and motor skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
Dance! Ballet, Tap & Hip-HopOur dance classes build a foundation which includes basic dance skills through songs, movement, and age-appropriate choreography. Each class offers age-appropriate dance work, including a mini-recital during the last class. Leotard, ballet and tap shoes are required. Children must be fully potty trained. Gym TotsThis class is designed for pre-schoolers to interact in a safe yet challenging learning environment. Take a trip to the zoo, tumble through the wild west or roll into outer space. Parents are welcome to participate. Healthy YStyleIt is a decision you have to make to change your life. Education provided by a certified personal trainer to aide in your progress to change your current nutrition and exercise habits into those that will lead you to a healthier lifestyle during this eight week course. Utilizing a small group format, this course will hold you accountable and make it possible for you to fit these changes into your current lifestyle. Make time to change your life! Home School OfferingsStudents are challenged to improve their individual skills and are trained in speed and agility, basketball drills, track and field events and games that promote improving physical health. Students will also learn Sign language and create art projects. Kid's Power PunchExercises and playing games are just 2 of the elements to Kid's Power Punch! Curriculum includes wellness, healthy eating, exercising and good sportsmanship. Don't forget your PUNCH! card. MusiKids!Traditional and seasonal songs, rhymes, music, games, finger plays, musical stories and more make up this age-appropriate rhythm and instrument class. The class instructor has a degree in Music and is excited to educate, motivate and guide your child through their musical experience!
Oops! Your Manners Are ShowingManner and etiquette classes with scripture based curriculum. Oops! Your Manners are Showing represents a fun approach to learning consideration of others and additional aspects of etiquette. Stroller StridesStroller Strides incorporates the environment, resistance tubing and the stroller to get an all-over body workout in 60 minutes. Trim KidsDesigned with busy families in mind, Trim Kids is a multi-disciplinary 13-week program that introduces parents and their children to lifetime weight management skills. Each week, parents and their children learn fun and new ways to increase their daily activity while practicing achievable eating goals. Our mission is to help you learn new, positive ways of encouraging your entire family to make healthier lifestyle choices. First Aid, CPR, AEDFor schools and the community. Learn the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives. The content and activities will help you identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aid care. Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued an American Red Cross CPR/AED Adult & Child certification, CPR Child & Infant certification and a Standard First Aid certification. There are no prerequisites for the class. A minimum of 4 participants is required to conduct the class. Please bring a lunch. | ||||||||
