Wellness Center

The NEW 7,700-square-foot Wellness Center combines strength training and cardiovascular machines. Strength equipment includes 2 circuits of LifeFitness® machine weights, Hammer Strength plate-loaded machines and free weights. The 70 Cardiovascular machines in the Wellness Center include recumbent bikes, elliptical machines, stair climbers and treadmills, AMT's and upright bikes. The Wellness Center accommodates both the novice and the experienced exerciser.

FitLinxx®

Known as "the intelligent workout," this computerized workout system attaches directly to the strength machines and cardio equipment. It coaches members to combine proper, consistent exercise motion with enhanced motivation through the entire workout. Members simply log in their PIN to display their targets. A centrally located kiosk is available to view your program and track your progress.

FitLinxx® Orientation

Our staff will get you started using this computerized workout system that attaches directly to the strength machines and cardio equipment. FREE and by appointment only. Make appointments in the Wellness Center.

Older Youth Strength Training

For older youth and teens. Older youth and teens will learn the proper use of pin select and cardiovascular equipment including technique and safety considerations. After successfully passing a written test and practical evaluation, participants may utilize the cardio equipment and pin select machines. Please schedule your appointment for this complimentary training with a Personal Trainer.

Kids' Cardio Orientation

Youth ages 8-11 must have parental/guardian supervision to use cardiovascular equipment in the Wellness Center during the non-peak hours. Parent must be beside the youth on the equipment. If you would like your youth to have a one-on-one orientation on all cardiovascular equipment, you may set up this appointment with a Wellness Center staff member.

Fitness Assessment

This evaluation consists of resting heart rate, blood pressure, percent body fat, aerobic fitness, flexibility and upper body strength. This is a great tool to establish a fitness baseline and set measurable, realistic goals. This service is FREE to our Facility Members. By appointment only; appointments are made in the Wellness Center.

Personal Training

Have you considered one-on-one training? Personal training makes all the difference. Our personal trainers come from a variety of specialized fitness areas, therefore, enabling them to develop a program specific for you. To accommodate our members, we have made personal training as affordable as possible, with rates starting at $60/hour.

Group Personal Training

In a rut? Need to shake things up? Want to improve your workouts, athletic performance and technique? Join a group training or create your own. Various new group trainings will be offered throughout the year. Each course will be 12 sessions. Pre-register at the Welcome Center. Classes cost $204 per person for groups of 3 or more and $225 for a pair (2 people). No refunds or make-up classes.

Group Exercise Classes

Get moving and get motivated with our great group exercise classes! We offer more than 100 classes a week, including step aerobics, water aerobics, spinning, yoga, Pilates and more. All classes are FREE to Facility Members only.

15/15/15

This class combines 15 minutes of each of the following: step, kickboxing and power pump. It's sure to rev up your heart rate and metabolism. Move your body and have fun at the same time!

Aqua Boot Camp

Aqua Boot Camp is a high-intensity, non-weight-bearing class that combines cardiovascular, strength, abdominal and aerobic training. This fast-paced class takes place in the shallow end of the pool and will take your water workout to the next level!

Aqua-cise

Aqua-cise is a fantastic way to get fit as well as stay fit. The unique physical properties of water provide an ideal environment for exercise. Natural buoyancy of the water reduces weight-bearing stress, allowing a greater ease of movement with less strain on bones, joints and muscles.

BalleTone

This 50-minute workout will give you a body blasting and energizing, low-impact workout. Consisting of a unique blend of strength, flexibility and other movements, this deceptively challenging workout leaves no muscle untouched! For all levels.

Boot Camp

This low-choreography and high-intensity class offers a challenge for all! Accountability, sprints, speed & agility work, weight training, jump roping, plyometrics and much more come together to create a powerhouse of a workout. Although all exercise levels are welcome to this class, it is designed for those seeking an intense boost to their workout routine. This workout is labeled advanced and is 85 minutes.

Cardio Punch

This 50-minute workout takes boxing to new levels. Practice your contact skills on targets. Combines kicking and boxing intervals with high-intensity muscle and core conditioning stations. Feel the stress vanish as you unleash on a target. Bring your own boxing gloves! We have a few pairs, but you will want your own.

Express Classed

Offered in a variety of formats, express classes are 25 minutes in length. These classes are for the member beginning their wellness routine or for the experienced exerciser looking for an express workout. All levels welcome; instructor will offer modifications.

Family Zumba

ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. This program has been modified for the kid population.

Hip-Hop Dance Class

Shake up your workout routine with dance styles; mainly street dance. Can include a wide range of styles such as breaking, popping, locking and krumping, and even house dance. It can also include the many styles simply labeled as hip hop, old school hip- hop (or hype), hip-hop new style and freestyle.

Kickboxing

A great addition to your workout routines. Strength, endurance and interval moves are all part of this workout. Kick, punch and jab your way to a healthier lifestyle with this upbeat workout. This class will improve overall fitness coordination and stamina. All levels welcome.

Mat Pilates

Conditioning program that improves muscle control, flexibility, coordination, strength and tone. Helps individuals regardless of condition or age. Based on proper breathing, good posture and intense concentration, the exercises are performed on a mat. All levels welcome.

PiYo

Combo of both Pilates and yoga. You will move at a decent tempo from pose to pose and from exercise to exercise. Exercises are performed seated, standing and lying down. The class is suited for beginners to advanced.

Power Pump

Increase your strength and metabolism by working all the major muscle groups using weights, tubing and balls. This is a great complement to your aerobic workouts. All fitness levels welcome!

Pump & Jump

It is a fast-paced, high-energy workout. Class composed of strength training and muscle sculpting combined with short bursts of high energy cardio and plyometrics exercises. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels but be prepared to push yourself!

Pump & Kick

This class is a combination of strength training, muscle sculpting and kickboxing intervals. Pump some weights and then do some kickboxing segments. This class will leave you feeling energized!

Reformer Pilates

Develop core strength and flexibility, improve posture and alignment, lengthen bulky muscles and increase body awareness. Change the way your body looks, feels and performs. Register at the Wellness Center Desk 30 minutes prior to class.

Rep Reebok/Reebok® Core Board

Step right this way to a non-impact fat-burning workout. Step on and off an adjustable platform while performing upper body movements. Increase the intensity of the workout by increasing the height of the platforms. This unique workout offers 3-dimensional action that tilts, twists, torques and recoils with the body's movements. Strengthens and stabilizes core muscles.

Spinning

This group indoor cycling format offers a fun and motivating workout for those familiar with cardiovascular exercise. It stimulates an "all-terrain" bike ride that will challenge both your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. This class is "at your own pace."

Step Aerobics

The class will improve cardiovascular fitness with emphasis on the legs and glutes. This class is great for all fitness levels and those looking for an effective workout that is easy to follow. All levels welcome. This class may also contain resistance training intervals.

Turbo Kick (TKB)

This is an addictive workout that combines shadow boxing, kickboxing, sport drills, yoga and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere. This interval-based class allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workout.

Y-HIT: High Intensity Training

This HIT class is an energetic, upbeat aerobic class that is sure to get your body moving. Class combines cardiovascular training and toning exercises for an awesome total body workout. All levels welcome.

Yoga

Tone the body and tune the mind. Learn to be calm, focus your energies and regain inner peace while improving physical strength. Class emphasizes awareness and relaxation through supported positions. All levels welcome.

Yoga Therapy

Improve precise conditions, such as back issues, neck, joint and any other issues with your tissues.

Zumba

A fusion of Latin and International music and dance themes, creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba uses the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps.
Ages: 15+

Guidelines for Group Exercise

  • Due to safety concerns, patrons are encouraged to be on time. Late arrivals (10 minutes after scheduled class start time) will not be permitted. Members should take extra precautions entering late or leaving early.
  • If you are new, please introduce yourself to the instructor and let he/she instruct you on equipment needed.
  • Appropriate exercise attire is required. Closed-toe athletic shoes and shirts must be worn at all times. No wet suits, rubber suits, denim jeans, jean shorts (cutoffs), dresses or dress clothing are permitted. Unacceptable attire includes, but not limited to: jazz or dance-style shoes, any dress shoes or dress boots. Mid-drift must be covered in class.
  • Please turn cell phones off. Do not talk or text on your cell phones while in class. You will be asked to excuse yourself until you are finished with your call.
  • Please keep all conversations and distractions to a minimum.
  • Items needed: water bottle and towel. Only drinks in closed, plastic containers with secure tops are allowed.
  • Eating and chewing gum are prohibited.
  • Patrons must return any equipment used in the class to the proper storage area after each use.
  • Any injury occurring in the Studios must be reported to the Fitness Center Staff and properly documented.
  • All patrons must use the lockers that are provided to store their belongings (coats, shirts, bags, etc.). Other belongings are not permitted in the studio, with the exception of a sweat towel and water bottle.
  • Yoga & Pilates are barefoot for your safety so that you do not slide and your feet can properly grip the flooring. You may wear yoga/Pilates socks for gripping.
  • Children ages 12 years and older may participate in group exercise classes. Spinning participants must be 14+ yrs
  • Please adhere to the three hour Child Watch time limit.
