Membership CardYour membership card is valuable and important. Members must show their card every time they enter the facility. Lost cards may be replaced for a nominal fee. Age PolicyChildren under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised at all times while in the building. All persons wishing to use the fitness center must be at least 15. GuestsThe YMCA welcomes future members to come in and try the YMCA as a guest. A copy of the guest policy is available at the Welcome Center. Refund PolicyJoining fees are nonrefundable after the first 30 days. Program fees are not refunded after a program begins, but may be credited to another program providing the request is made prior to the second class meeting. AttireAthletic shoes and shirts must be worn during exercise in all workout areas of the facility. Street shoes are not permitted on any wood floors or in the pool area. Proper swimsuits must be worn when using the pool. Cotton T-shirts, shorts, jeans or khakis are not allowed. LockersLockers are available for use by members and guests. You must bring your own lock. We recommend that you not leave valuables in your vehicle; the YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. However, we do keep lost & found items at the Member Service counter. Items will be kept for a 30-day period and then given to charity if they are not claimed. Food and BeveragesNo food or drink is permitted in the workout area or gymnasium, except a water bottle. Some refreshments are available for sale in the lobby. Alcoholic beverages are never allowed. AccidentsContact a YMCA staff person immediately if there is an accident, injury or unusual incident. We are here to assist you. Smoking PolicySmoking or using tobacco products is not permitted anywhere in the facility or on the grounds of the YMCA. Comments & SuggestionsThis is your YMCA; make your concerns and comments known! Member suggestion cards are available throughout the facility and at the Membership Desk. We pledge to acknowledge each comment and respond appropriately. Disciplinary ActionThe YMCA has the right to suspend or cancel membership services if a member’s behavior or language is judged to be in conflict with the welfare of other members or staff, or in conflict with the YMCA’s purpose.
