Older Youth Strength Training This class is designed to teach youth proper exercise techniques and weight room etiquette. This is a requirement for youth to enter and use the weight room. Class is held every 1st and 3rd of the month. Youth should allow 2 hours for the class. A test is given at the end of the class. Youth must pass the test with at least 80% to receive certification. Upon completion, youth ages 12-15 may use the cardio & strength training equipment without parental consent. Ages: 12-15yrs Contact the Health & Wellness Director for more information. Teen Night Our next Teen Night is scheduled for Aug ’ from 8:30pm-11:30pm. Don’t miss out on a night filled with sports, hip hop, video games, swimming and more! Ages: 12-17 yrs Exact dates not yet determined. Call the YMCA for more details! Counselor-in-Training Give your teens positive job coaching and experience this summer. Our older teens will assist the Camp staff all summer as they prepare themselves for Youth Employment. Age-appropriate Team Building, Leadership and Communication activities will also be part of the FUN this summer.
