AFTERSCHOOL

Are you looking for a safe place for your kids after school? Look no further than the YMCA. We provide highly qualified staff that cares about your child. They will help with homework, provide structured centers and games, and even provide a snack.

The San Jacinto Family YMCA provides YMCA AfterSchool at several Pasadena, Deer Park and LaPorte elementary schools.

Session: ’08-’09 Academic School Year
Registration: Begins in July ’08

Birthday Parties

Your child will be the center of attention at their very own YMCA birthday party! Parties are an hour and a half long and include 50-60 minutes of YMCA instructor lead activities and 30 mins of cake and present time.

Themes are:

• Dazzling Diva

• Ballet Princess

Program Member: $175
50% deposit is due at time of booking

All parties are held either Sat or Sun from 1:00-2:30pm or 3:00-4:30pm. Parties must be booked 2 weeks in advance. For more information about party packages and amenities please call the YMCA.

TEENS

Midnight Madness

‌Every other Friday night junior high and high school students are welcome at the YMCA to enjoy basketball, dance, movies, volleyball, dodgeball and more. Teens must be signed in by a parent or guardian.

ROPES COURSE

The San Jacinto YMCA Ropes Course is made up of activities & elements that challenge individuals and groups socially, mentally and physically. Each experience is carefully sequenced as your group learns to trust and communicate. Consider the YMCA Ropes Course for your corporate group, sports team, family or church group. ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS

SilverSneakers® 1

‌The preventative SilverSneakers® exercise program enhances the quality of life for mature adults across the country. Health Care Dimensions (HCD) developed the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program 10 years ago, and it has since grown into the largest senior-focused exercise program in the United States. The partnerships between HCD and HMOs allow Medicare-eligible members of these health plans to participate in YMCA programs at no additional cost.

Monthly Luncheons

‌Join us for a potluck lunch the last Wed of each month at 11am.

Monthly Field Trips

‌May include trips to museums, Astros games and YMCA association events, among other things.
