YMCA Summer Day Camp provides youth with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Kids have fun while making new friends, developing new skills, learning core values, building self-confidence, appreciating teamwork and growing in self-reliance. For kids, Y Camp is a fun and happy place to enjoy the summer. Y Day Camp gives children the opportunity to play games, create arts and crafts, explore science and technology, swim, participate in field trips, appreciate nature and discover and value our many cultures.

Camp Sessions

‌The following sessions apply to Discovery Camp, Summer Day Camp and Teen Camp. Registration April 12 (Healthy Kids Day) through the end of summer.

Discovery Camp

‌(Ages 3-5) Children must be potty-trained and cannot have completed kindergarten. Children will have an in-house field trip each week as well as one water day. Children must bring lunch and two snacks each day.

Day/Time: Mon-Fri 6:30am-6:30pm

Location: LaPorte United Methodist Church

Facility Member: $200/session
($100 for session 6)
Program Member: $250/session

Summer Day Camp

‌(Ages 5-10)
5-year-olds must have completed kindergarten. Children will go on at least one field trip a week and swim at least 2 times per week. Lunch and two snacks will be provided.

Location: San Jacinto Family YMCA (you may use the LaPorte United Methodist Church as a drop off/pick up site for your child for an additional $15 fee)

Summer Teen Camp

‌(Ages 11-15) Teens will travel and participate in service projects off-site at least 1 day per weeks and swim two days per week. Lunch and two snacks will be provided.
