Leaders Club
(Grades: 9-12) Want to make an impact in Houston? Want to make a difference in the world? YMCA Teen Corps makes an impact and lets you do it at your home YMCA and throughout the Houston area. This program offers teens a chance to get involved in the Y and the community. You’ll do service projects that range from clothing and food drives to visiting area hospitals to helping at the Weekley Family YMCA/Upper Kirby Extension events. All the while, we’ll add some fun events and trips throughout the year.

Babysitting
This teaches basics on safe and responsible babysitting, interviewing and resume writing, and safety care. Participants should bring their own sack lunch.

Teen Volunteer Orientation
This is for students who need extra volunteer hours or simply want to help out in their community. This orientation is mandatory for any students wishing to volunteer at the YMCA and will include information about child abuse prevention, accident and incident reporting, etc.
Ages: 13-17
Dates: Check with Teen Director for upcoming orientations
Registration: Students must fill out volunteer packets before attending the volunteer orientation
