Home School PE
(2009/2010 School Year) With sport-specific drills, take-home activities and hands-on training, your child will be sure to get a well-rounded physical education experience. Children are divided into groups by age and participate in a different sport each month, such as swimming, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee and more.Preregistration is required; space limited. Home School PE runs concurrently with the Pearland ISD calendar.
There is no Home School PE on the following days:

Red Cross Adult CPR/AED/First Aid Training for the Workplace
Class takes place the 3rd Sunday of every month from 1:00pm-6:00pm. Even months are NEW certifications (people who have never been certified) and will include adult CPR/AED/First Aid. Odd months are for recertification (people who have been certified) and will include adult CPR/O2/AED. Preregistration is required.| Class Day | 3rd Sun of each month |

Martial Arts
A black belt instructor teaches discipline, fitness, flexibility, focus and cooperation. Youth ages 5-12 learn kicking, striking, punching and blocking. Ages 13 and up learn all the above, plus several katas and practice self-defense. There must be a minimum of 10 participants for class to make. Introduction to Photography Clinics
The Coppinger Family YMCA is proud to offer these summer photography clinics taught by professional photographer Amy Clayton. Amy has almost 20 years of photography experience and is passionate about teaching others how to take beautiful pictures!Introduction to Photography covers the different types of cameras and the functions and features of each. You will also learn about the basics of photography including the different types: landscape, portrait, action and candids.
