Home School PE Lap Swim Workouts
Ages: 8-15. For home school kids who love to swim and can swim 100 meters continuously. Improve stroke technique as well as get a great cardiovascular exercise workout.
Session: Jan 13-April 30
Class Days/Times: Tueday & Thurday, 8:15am-9:00am
Location: Indoor pool
Cost: Members only, $65
Registration and classes are held in the main building.
Home School PE Class
(Ages 5+) Curriculum is guided by our philosophy of everyone plays and everyone wins. Activities/units include: indoor (volleyball, basketball, our new micro-tennis) and outdoor (soccer, baseball, kickball) ball sports, challenge course, fitness circuits, run club, games, relays, jump rope, floor hockey, fun and fitness (a taste of our group exercise classes geared for kids), presidential fitness, and water activities, just to name a few.
Spring Session: Jan 13-May 14
Class Days/Times: Tueday & Thurday, 12:45pm-2:00pm (ages 5-8) and 2:15pm-3:30pm (ages 9-15)
Cost for spring session: $150 full members and $250 program members.
Registration and classes take place at the new Youth Activity Center, where the instructor will meet the kids before class. (No class March 17 & 19).
Home School PE Gymnastics
(Ages 5-9) This class teaches the fundamentals of gymnastics in a safe, nurturing and fun atmosphere. Students will train on beam, bars, vault, springboard, trampoline, tumble and conditioning. Gymnastics is great for developing coordination, core strength, flexibility and self-esteem!
12 Week Spring Session: Feb 2-May 4 (no class March 16)
Day/Time: Monday 1:00-1:45pm (ages 5-7) or 1:45-2:30pm (ages 7-9)
Homeschool Micro-Tennis
(Ages 6-11) Join our 8-week Micro Tennis class and put some variety in your PE program.
Session I: Jan 14-March 4
Session II: March 25-May 13
Day/Time: Class meets once a week on Wednesdays 12:30-1:45 pm (ages 6-8), Wednesdays 2:00-3:15 pm (ages 8-11).
