Joining Is Easy!
Members of the Bay Area YMCAs have access to the EA Smith YMCA Center and the Perry YMCA Center. Citywide, includes use of any Greater Houston Area YMCA.
Anyone can join the YMCA! The YMCA has always been a great fit for everyone and their family. Now, it’s also a great fit for every budget. Because we believe a healthier lifestyle should be available to all, we’re now offering Membership For All. Join the YMCA, and your monthly membership fee will be based on your annual household income. Our membership types are based on household types, we have no contracts to sign, a 30-day money-back guarantee on your joining fee and an AWAY program, in which you can use your Houston YMCA membership at other participating YMCAs across the country.

Membership Rates
Rates listed below are our full-pay monthly rates. If your annual household income is less than $60K per year, you may qualify for a lower rate with our Membership For All program. Check with the Welcome Center to find out more.

Student
Includes students ages 10-18 and students ages 19-25 able to provide proof of full-time paid classes for current semester.Individual Adult

There is a $20 reinstatement fee to reopen a closed membership.
Facility Membership
For those individuals or families who wish to have full facility use. Membership dues cover the cost of maintaining YMCA facility and operations and are paid to the YMCA monthly through our convenient draft payment plan, or can be paid by an annual invoice. The Bay Area YMCAs have a one-time joining fee of $60. Facility Members are also eligible for reduced fees on YMCA programs.Program Membership
Designed for those who want to participate in programs or activities but do not want to use the amenities our facilities have to offer. A yearly Program Membership fee of $30 gives you and your family access to many programs and activities that are designed for our Program Members.Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your membership, you may do so with a 30-day written notice. Visit the Welcome CenterReinstatement Fee
If you come back to the YMCA within 90 days of cancelling, you will not be charged a fee. After 90 days, we welcome you back, but there will be a $20 reactivation fee (but not another joining fee).
