Adventure Guides

YMCA Adventure Guides assists parent and child (school-age) on a journey of discovery. While activities with the whole family are important, we see tremendous value in supporting and strengthening the ability of a parent and his or her child to communicate at an early age in ways that are caring, honest, respectful and responsible. The Adventure Guide Program does not have to be for just one parent and child, but may include the entire family unit. Typical activities that the Adventure Guides take part in include: games, crafts, songs, stories, skits, camping, fishing and hiking.

Registration begins August 1, 2009.
