Birthday Bunch

Session: 3rd Monday of the month April 20 and May 18; 3rd Friday of the month (summer only) June 19, July 17, August 21

Bridge and Dominos follow Birthday Bunch at noon. Each program includes an interesting speaker or presentation, birthday roses and healthy “brunch time” snacks.

Bridge/Dominos and Scrabble Groups

Ages: 50+
Days/Times: Mondays 11:35am-2:00pm; Summer only (June-August) Fridays 11:35am-2:00pm

Members bring a “Brown Bag Lunch” and/or “Snack to Share.” All levels of players welcome.

Adventure Trips

Ages: 50+
Dates: See Active Older Adults Bulletin Board for event flyers with dates and details
Fees: Vary with each event
Scheduled several times per year. Trips include local and nearby attractions such as museums, theaters, and festivals. Advance registration & payment for entry fee is required. Cost for lunch/brunch is not usually included in entry fee. Some trips may also offer shopping options.

AOA Book Club

Ages: 50+
Day/Time: Check the AOA Bulletin Board for all Book Club events and book selections. The Library also invites us to join their Book Club, scheduled the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6:00pm-7:00pm.

Whole Foods Value Store Tour

Ages: 50+
Session: 3rd Tuesday of the month April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21 and August 18
Time: 12:00pm
Registration: Check the AOA Bulletin Board for sign up details. No fee to attend. Limited to 18 people per tour.
Location: Meet in the YMCA Lobby to board the bus. We will be traveling to the Whole Foods Market Bellaire location.

Holiday Games Days

Come anytime your schedule allows. Bring a snack or covered dish to share. Bring your favorite board game or card game such as bridge, dominoes, backgammon, etc.
